Established in 1933, The NorthEastern Lumber Manufactuers Association is the rules writing agency for Eastern White Pine Lumber and the grading authority for Eastern Spruce, Balsam Fir, Spruce Pine Fir species groupings and other comercially important eastern softwood lumber species.

HEAT TREATMENT STAMP
FOR USE ONLY ON LUMBER
AND COMPONENTS

From lumber and components that have been heat treated at the facility, the Heat Treated Stamp (below) shall be applied at least once to each to each piece For finished wood packaging materials (WPM) such as pallets, skids, and crates manufactured from certified heat treated (HT) and stamped lumber and components, the IPPC Stamp (right) shall be applied to a minimum of two opposite sides of the WPM
